Spells full definitions in ITL. Except for these listed on this page, all other spells are unavailable.
Spells are divine, so they require at least Acolyte talent.
Mana is the maximum number of spell points a character may have. It is 0 until talent points are spent to raise it.
Spell points - Priests and acolytes have Cultic mores: they must attend regular rituals to gain Spell points; breaking mores costs Spell points. Please add them to your character sheet. There are two different tables below that use the same scale: Ritual, Mores.

Enchant stores spell points from an [offering] in a premium quality object that can be worn or wielded. The effect lasts for one encounter of the player's choosing, and use of the effect expends the enchantment. The wielder pays no spell points. The nature of the object defines the manifestation of the effect. Here are some examples:
Staff - Creating a staff requires a one-time offering of [level]. Attacking with the staff does not cost spell points. Reaching staff adds two-hex jab. Sharp staff adds Armor Bypass. Smiting staff adds 1d6 damage. Rules for Enchant do not apply.
Consecrated objects do not have usable effects, it is for buildings, furniture, paraphernalia. Rituals require consecrated objects. Premium quality are best.
Bloodthirsty gods and invisible daemons abound; Priests are their intermediaries, and Cults are groups devoted to their worship. Some Cults are influential, some aloof, some mysterious. Some are only available to NPCs. Joining a cult gives access to their spells, talents, holy places and machinations. Cult spells cost 1 talent each, and most require a quest to obtain. Fire spell only costs talent for the first level.
These Gods are indigenous, but Greeks also worship them.
